OUR PRIVACY POLICY (feel free to download a copy clicking here)

Welcome to our shiny new Privacy Policy - to let you know we are complying to GDPR laws in the UK and Europe - Yay!

WHO WE ARE

Tailored Media is a video production company in London, we are busy making films in the UK and internationally, and as such we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that Tailored Media is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. Our focus is on creating video content and facilitating our clients, so we simply don’t do that sort of thing. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, and the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

TYPE OF DATA WE COLLECT:

Cookies

We do not collect cookies – so if you’re the cookie monster, nothing for you here mate.

Google Analytics

When someone visits tailoredmedia.co.uk we use a third party service (which we think is brilliant) Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site - it helps us improve our work and understand how best to serve our visitors and make their experience better. This information is only processed in a way, which does not identify anyone - it is anonymous and harmless. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We work with Google partner agencies who are tied into strict contracts with us as well (who also comply to GDPR regulations).

Mailing Lists

Due to the nature of our personable approach with brands and clients, we rarely send out mass newsletters which we find a bit cold as an approach and isn't in line with our Tailored client approach.  However, should Tailored Media ever wish to send out mass newsletters, we would only do so, if you have given your consent to being contacted in this way.  We would use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver newsletters. We would also most likely gather statistics around email opening and number of clicks using industry standard technologies to help us keep and eye on and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please check MailChimp’s privacy notice it's such an interesting read... please take your time. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the wonderful unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer with clear instructions to have your details removed.

Storing information and Third Parties

As a solid rule, we do not share any collected personal data with third parties online or on paper. If you contact us via our contact form or directly via an email address, your information will be hosted within our email client (gmail). We use the Google tools found as part of G-Suite. You can also find out all about Google’s own privacy policies here and here

If your  personal information becomes vital to a production and your information needs to be on a production call sheet, this will only be shared with other individuals who are specifically linked to the production.
