Video Production Company Privacy Policy

HERE IS OUR GDPR STATEMENT (feel free to download a copy clicking here)

Welcome to our shiny new Privacy Policy – created to let you know that we comply with GDPR laws in the UK and Europe and USA. Yay!

WHO WE ARE

Tailored Media is a video production company based in London. We spend our days creating films across the UK and internationally, and we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our website.

We want you to know that Tailored Media is not in the business of selling, renting, or trading email lists with other companies for marketing purposes. Our focus is on creating video content and supporting our clients – so we simply don’t do that sort of thing.

To reassure you further, this Privacy Policy explains when and why we collect personal information, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we may share it, and how we keep it secure.

Get comfy, grab a cup of tea, and read on…

TYPE OF DATA WE COLLECT

Cookies

We do not collect cookies – so if you’re the Cookie Monster, nothing for you here, mate.

Our site is safe and protected

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our website from spam and abuse. This service may collect information such as your IP address, browser details, and user behaviour data to determine whether you’re a human. The use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and any data collected is used solely for security purposes.

Google Analytics

When someone visits tailoredmedia.co.uk we use a third‑party service – Google Analytics – to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This helps us understand things like how many people visit different parts of the site, so we can improve our content and your experience.

This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone. It is anonymised and aggregated. We do not make any attempt to identify individuals visiting our website. We also work with verified and secure Google partner agencies who are bound by strict contracts and comply with GDPR regulations too.

Mailing Lists

Because of our personable approach with brands and clients, we rarely send out mass newsletters — we find them a bit cold, and they don’t align with our tailored client approach.

However, if Tailored Media ever chooses to send newsletters, we would only do so with your explicit consent. We would use a third‑party provider, MailChimp, to deliver them.

We may gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry‑standard technologies to help us keep an eye on and improve our e‑newsletters.

For more information, please check MailChimp’s privacy notice it’s a surprisingly interesting read… You can unsubscribe from general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer with clear instructions to remove your details.

Storing Information and Third Parties

As a rule, we do not share any collected personal data with third parties, either online or on paper.

If you contact us via our contact form or directly by email, your information will be stored within our email client (Gmail).

We use the incredibly useful Google tools found as part of Google Workspace. You can also find out all about Google’s own privacy policies here.

If your personal information becomes essential to a production – for example, if it needs to appear on a production call sheet – it will only be shared with individuals directly involved in that production.

Access to Your Personal Data

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer: hello@tailoredmedia.co.uk
